Reetha is a large deciduous tree commonly known as soap nut, soapberry, or wash nut. Its scientific name is Sapindus Mukorossi. The fruit of Reetha contains a compound called Saponin which has natural foam and acts as a surfactant. It cleanses the scalp and makes hair healthy and lustrous.
